About a half hour ago, O and I were discussing a dream he had last night about an ocean liner. He proceeded to tell me that he was scared because he couldn’t find his night light and so that is why he came into the bedroom to see mommy and daddy. Then, he said daddy made him go back to his own bed and tucked him in. What all of that had to do with an ocean liner is beyond me. He seemed pretty satisfied once he got it all out though.

After the story, I asked him if he would like to watch Madagascar ( A new obsession. Move over Polar Express…. Hello Madagascar!) . He was so enthusiastic that he started jumping on the bed. He bounced once and then flew across the bed and onto the floor. You’ve never seen a momma run so fast. I was over to him in a flash! Poor little guy was scared but thankfully, okay. I didn’t realize how exciting the prospects of watching Madagascar was I guess.

He’s laying on mommy and daddy’s bed right now, drinking milk and watching his movie. The crisis has moved past in record speed.

Though I can’t help but think of the song/nursery rhyme “5 little monkeys jumping on a bed” …..
