Yesterday, I received two anonymous comments on my blog. Both comments were direct missiles at me. Anonymous stated that I shouldn’t have had the first two kids and that I should have kept my uhm…. as she so eloquently put it… “kept my legs closed”. The second comment was more of the same (leg-closing statement) and in addition to that I was called fat, lazy and she was surprised i’m still married. I have to admit that I was quite shocked. Obviously, i’m not used to hearing such strong words from people (anonymous strangers or otherwise). After the initial shock of the crude statements, I recovered and realized that not everyone is a fan and that is okay.

I do however, want it to be known that my children O, S and baby #3 are all blessings and I am so incredibly lucky to have them in my life. They are the most wonderful little people you will ever meet. They have more heart, strength and courage at their very young age than even anonymous in all her crude glory has. My children and my husband are my life. Whatever frustrations I may post on this blog is really only momentary and not meant to be taken as though this is how I live. I am a blessed woman and count those blessings of mine everyday.

So anonymous, if your comment was meant to bring me down, it only made me feel more blessed. In essence I feel really sorry for you and your weird viewpoint on having children.  I really hope that someday you will be as blessed as I.
