The fam and I had a pretty relaxed day today. Husb concentrated on cleaning out both cars while I tinkered on the computer and in the basement. I have been working on mastering the fine art of being able to effectively create and manipulate graphics on Photoshop CS3. I must have had a million tutorial tabs open on Firefox today! At 5, I had information overload and needed to step away for a couple of hours.

I finally managed to get rid of the last of our moving boxes. It sort of feels like we have finished “moving in”. However, we still aren’t sure if we want to buy the house from husb’s mom. It’s an awesome and beautiful home but very limited space-wise. In order for us to be 100% comfy here, we first need to finish the basement and add a bedroom. Without doing that, this place is a no-go for us long term, unfortunately. Plus, husb has admitted that he kind of wants to move back to the area we moved from. I really love it over here and feel so spoiled by having the beach and lakeshore so near! Who knows what will happen but for now… this works.

The baby is doing better with his tummy issues. He seems to be a bit more predictable. On Friday, I was able to get an hour and a half of complete quiet. WOooot!

Owie-bear has discovered the fine art of video games at the tender age of 4. He is currently obsessed with playing every downloaded demo on our PS3. The only games I refuse to let him play are the super violent ones. I don’t believe that children so young can fully comprehend what is real and acceptable and what isn’t.

Sophie-kat is still my little troublemaker (said with love, of course). She is little miss nosy britches and into everything. If it isn’t super-glued shut, locked, nailed down or in an impossibly high place, she is into it. The baby-proofing companies definitely had someone like her in mind when they created new “no-touch” devices.

I have been trying to get back into good health but it is slow going. I can’t become fully active until 8 weeks postpartum. I have 3-4 weeks left to go! As it is, I have been experiencing a rather sharp pain on the inside-left side. I *think* it’s where my tubes were tied but i’m not 100% sure of that. I’ll have to ask my OBGYN at my 6-week check up.

Other than that, not a whole lot going on. I have been feeling rather quiet and contemplative lately.
