Oy Vey…

So, i’m not sure how many of you ladies have had your husbands change diapers… but are they babies about it?
Little Brodykins needed to be changed this evening and I enlisted my husband to help. Now mind you, I do most (if not ALL) of the diaper changing around here because #1 it was part of our agreement with me being able to stay home and #2 my husband HATES doing it. Especially the poopy ones.
Anyway… so he was changing Brody’s diaper and lo and behold, the little guy pooped his pants. So as my husband is changing his diaper he is gagging so loud that the other kids run into the bedroom to see what is happening. I am standing there rolling my eyes as I push him gently aside to finish the task sans-gagging.
Maybe I have a stronger stomach because I used to change adult diapers when I worked with my mom in her AFC (Adult Foster Care) business. It was no big deal to me then and even less of a deal now. *shrugs*
Now really… how are your husbands with the whole diaper changing ordeal? Are they big babies too?

Lucky for me, part of OUR agreement when we had kids was that my hubby would take on his fair share of diaper duty (and everything else)
He’s a pro and never once complains (cuz he KNOWS there would be major re-percussions from that one!!).

My hubby isn’t too bad.
BUT, a good friend of ours used to gag so bad that his son actually learned to make that sound fairly early!

I can count on one hand how many times John changed a diaper. *roll eyes*

Hubby usually wants my ‘help’ (distracting her) when he changes a diaper. Dude, if I’m in here anyway, I may as well change the darn diaper!
