So Mr. Brodykins has had diaper rash for the past four days. We tried all of the diaper rash creams available but nothing worked! So finally yesterday, I concocted this little recipe:
1/3 Monostat (regular brand)
1/3 Desitin
1/3 Maalox
The Maalox helps to neutralize the acid of the diaper rash, the monostat helps clear it up if it is a yeast rash and the Desitin has zinc oxide in it (which helps clear up normal diaper rash).
Put it on his bottom last night and this morning the rash is almost gone!
That sounds interesting! Another one that I have found to be the very BEST is aloe vesta. It is over the counter but you have to get it from the pharmacist here. It is really great.

Crap. I needed this a year ago! I was stuck making paste from vaseline and oatmeal and slathering the kid’s butts. It worked but was a total mess.
Have you tried good ol Boudreaux’s Butt Paste?
It worked for us.
