The “New” Best non-violent video game….
When it comes to video games, I prefer those of the RPG or music genre. I’m not coordinated enough to tackle a first person shooter game and racing games just don’t interest me.
However, after watching G4 T.V. last Sunday, husb and I came across a game that looked like it could be fun for the whole family! It’s called “Little Big Planet”.
In this game, you can create the main character and make a “sackboy” or a “sackgirl” tailored to how you want it to look! You can add any emotion you want to your little sack person! You can even create your own levels!
It’s a fun game because it is sort of an updated version of a throwback of the old Super Mario. However, this game has absolutely no violence and there is no princess to rescue this time. Your little sack person basically travels along through these levels collecting various items. The laws of physics are applied and so when you think that something should fall or bend a certain way, it does! It also makes good use of the axis controls (meaning you can make your little guy nod, dance, etc.).
If you are looking for a good non-violent video game that has excellent graphics and a great interface and something that the whole family will enjoy, check out “Little Big Planet”!

Sounds like a neat game. I’ll make sure and check it out. I’m always looking for something new to play. I love RPG games. I’ve been trying to complete the newest Tomb Raider game. Though it’s a little hard to play with a 4 year old wanting to play too. LOL!!

We just picked up Monopoly for PlayStation. It is really cool, if you like the game. Hubby and I sat for a few hours the other night playing. We couldn’t put it down!
