Finally, husb and I have started to work on getting our basement finished. It seems like now is the right time to do it since winter seems to be dragging on and on in our neck of the woods. This weekend we plan to measure everything out and get a list of materials (and price them up accordingly).

We decided to go with a plasma screen tv instead of an LCD TV. However, since we don’t have the tv yet, the jury is probably still out on that one.

Now, I need to price up bedroom carpeting as well as carpeting for the family room. Is it better to buy carpet online or in person? What is your opinion?
