I love horses! Even though I didn’t have any of my own, I grew up around neighbors who did have horses. I even got to ride one once! They are absolutely beautiful creatures. There is something so “home spun” about them. Or maybe I have read too many romance novels.

In any case, I begged for one yearly when I was younger. Much to my disappointment, I didn’t get a horse. My parents didn’t have the money for horse supplies as they are expensive animals to take care of and high maintenance to boot. Perhaps I liked the “idea” of owning a horse. Who knows.
