You know, life is short. It is hard to imagine something bad happening to someone I love. I often wonder what would happen if husb or I died while the kids were young. Who would protect them? What would become of their future?
Because of those questions, I have seriously been looking into getting some term life quotes. Having life insurance would make me feel at ease a little more if something should happen to my husband or I.
Do you have a life insurance policy? Does it make you feel a little more at peace?

Yes, and yes. Life insurance is for wage earners and mother’s taking care of young children, who would need paid supervision if something happened to her. Children are not wage earners and don’t need life insurance, regardless of the “sell” of a 40lK or whatever. Five to six times salaries, for the amount to carry, or more if you’d like. It’s to pay for education as well, and those costs always go up. If you acquire mass wealth later in life, life insurance becomes less important.
