This past Christmas, husb and I decided to buy Owiebear a Leapster. I read reviews and spoke with other parents whose children own one and after much research, decided that getting one for Owen was a good idea.

We are able to track his progress online. We have bought him a ton of games for it. Each game teaches him a different subject. For instance, he absolutely loves Jedi Math and does quite well with it! He also has the Wall-E game and can name all of the planets in order.

One of the reasons I love the Leapster is that it motivates youngsters to learn on their own. Only, they don’t know that they are learning… they only know that they are having fun!

My daughter Sophie is only 2 (almost 2-1/2) and has asked for her own Leapster for her birthday this year. I can definitely say that she will get her own!

Now, the Leapster is not really too pricey but just pricey enough. That could hinder your ability to buy games for it right away. So, they recommend that you buy a micro sd card for it so that your children can play games online! The greatest thing about this toy is that you have options and you don’t have to go broke in getting accessories and such for it!
