Journey to better health

So i’m on this journey right now to better health. And one of the things I would like to do is figure out how to lose belly fat. Having 3 kids in such a short period of time has taken its toll on my body (well that and various life stressors). So abdominal fat is a big problem for me. On top of stomach crunches and supplements, i’m wondering what else is out there to help combat against abdominal fat.

I’ve had seven kids myself, and used to be morbidly obese, so I totally relate to the desire to tone up the mid-section!

You know this already, but you can’t just spot reduce one area! It’s really a good healthy combination of cardio and strength training that will help reduce the abdominal area.

I didn’t see how old your kids are, but I did find that even after I lost my 150 pounds, the belly still went down substantially with some more work!

Diane, that is really good to know! I’ve often heard of people getting tummy tucks after losing so much weight. It’s rare to hear that someone actually works to tone their tummy down! I am also morbidly obese but working on it day by day. Thank you so much for your input! :)
