A few years ago, a friend of mine signed up for disability insurance on her vehicle. She did this as a “just-in-case”. If something were to happen to her, then her car payments would still be made on time.

When a person becomes unexpectedly injured, it is nice to have something to fall back on. Or at least something supplemental to help cover expenses during a time of crisis.
