People today are aging differently than they did a long time ago. 40 used to mark a time in a woman’s life when she could officially consider herself to be “old”. But as i’m fast learning, 40 is the new 30. One of the best things to help your skin keep its vitality and youthful appearance is to apply the best wrinkle cream you can find! ;)

Like for instance, a couple of weeks ago I loaded up on new makeup and threw the old stuff out. On Sunday (in addition to the grocery shopping), I bought a pair of Rubis nail scissors to help with toenails and fingernails! My cuticles need reshaping badly!

The next thing to do on my list of recovering my outer beauty is to color my hair and give it some much needed highlights!

As soon as i’m done, I will have to take a picture and show you guys!

Some, dry my face out so much that I need to use lotion, which then causes my skin to get a bit oily in spots. Others don’t leave my face feeling as clean as I would like.

Which skin care products do you like to use for acne? Recommendations would be awesome!

Now, however, I have majorly let go.  I don’t care about how I dress and I rarely get dolled up.  I am as I am.  I realize that the reasoning for this is because so much has changed.  When the kids came along, I was no longer concerned about my appearance.  Being there for them (and let’s face it, who has time to spend an hour primping when you have little kids running around just dying to get into things) has replaced any ounce of “want” that I have to look good.

Now, however, I have decided to start a “bringing sexy back” challenge.  After this baby, I will be looking at regaining my looks and I will concentrate on taking good care of myself once again. This of course includes but is not limited to finding the best anti wrinkle cream, make up that is better for my skin, clothes that fit and look nice, keeping up with my hair, and losing weight!

I am so stoked about this! I’m going to post before and after pictures! If anyone wants to join me on the challenge, let me know!
