Have you ever read through your previous posts on your blog (or journal) and revel in how much things have changed from then till now? I can’t believe that I started this blog in 2006. Now almost three years later, I am still here, still experiencing and still writing about it.
Some posts made me laugh. While others made me reflect. Still others made me wonder…”why the heck did I say that outloud?”
In almost three years I have faithfully followed these blogs:
Adventures in Stepford
Self-Proclaimed Supermom
Girls Gone Child
Mom-101
The Grim Reality
Her Bad Mother
These ladies inspired me to continue to write. I remember that Rhonda’s blog (Self-Proclaimed Supermom) was the first blog I had ever encountered. I went through her posts one by one and soon found myself caught up in her story.
These blogs made me laugh, cry, sympathize, and think. I just wanted to give a quick shout out to them. The ladies who inspired me to blog. It’s a precious thing this notion of writing your thoughts out and having other people read them. It was intimidating at first as I journeyed to find my writing voice. Now though… there is more of a thirst to say what is on my mind and to read what others have to say.
The world is a big place indeed but I found that in the end we all have something to say. In that way, it makes us kindred spirits.
As many of you know (because i’ve mentioned it a bunch of times), I am starting a business where I develop and design websites. One of the things I love, is a good blog design. This blog was designed by the ever fabulous Heather over at Girly Blog Designz! I’m considering contacting her for another one since she did such a great job on this one!
In your opinion, what makes a good blog theme? What would you be willing to pay for a good blog theme? How often would you change up your theme?
I have been frequenting a new favorite blog of mine for a few weeks (thank you Entrecard!) and came across a post today on Health Care. It was good. So good in fact, that I am encouraging all who visit this blog to check it out! Oh and read the comments too! His readers are extremely well-written and knowledgeable! If this doesn’t get your mojo going this morning to want to change things in this country, I don’t know what will…
Read. Write. React.
I just wanted to wish all of my fellow Mommy Bloggers a very Happy Mother’s Day! I hope your day was filled with appreciation and love for all that you do!

Today, I ran across a blog called Busy Mommy. True to its name, the site has a lot of valuable information for moms of all walks of life! As a mommy, I found the different sections really helpful! The blog is built on a Joomla platform (just a little geek speak for ya) and I really enjoy the organization of it! Plus, bonus, I finally found a linking to hotslings! I received a sling like that not too long ago and let me tell you… I absolutely loved it! You can be close to your little one while remaining hands free to take care of other tasks! If that doesn’t appeal to the busy mom, I don’t know what does!
Anyway, if you are a busy mom like me, you should check out the site! Stop by and give her props! It is a really resourceful and fun blog!
