In your opinion, what makes a great hat? Are you a hat person? Do you have a hat fetish?

Seriously though… if you were going to buy a hat… what kind of hat would you buy?

I have owned only a few hats in my life (winter hat not withstanding). I had the popular black hat of the early 90s (you know the one that kind of sat on the back of your head). I also did the fisherman’s hat that was popular in the late 90s. Since then, I have not owned a hat. Though I think that if I did own a hat, I would want a beret.

I love shoes! Love them I tell ya! But i’m sooo picky about shoes. If I find a pair of shoes that I can’t get out of my mind, then I buy them. It was simply meant to be.

Recently, I discovered a new shoe designer, Cole Haan. I checked out the collection and all of the shoes are very modern and super cute!

My favorite style from there is the “Kit Air Ornament Bootie”.

I have to admit that while I like a good bargain, I frequently entertain the thought of going name brand. Not just department-store name brand but more “famous” name brand. Lately I have been looking at Gucci watches online. They are beautiful! Though they are expensive, I have wanted one. It’s such a pretty little trinket. I would ask for something like this for Mother’s Day but I can see husb laughing at me. Still… someday (when I am rich and famous… haha) I will own a Gucci watch!

and I have absolutely nothing to wear. I’ve come into my own after having kids and want very much to look fabulous no matter what I am doing. Whether i’m blogging, doing web stuff, shopping or sleeping I must. look. cute.

I have to admit that i’m sort of over looking frumpy. That was the look I sported during the last two of my three pregnancies. I knew the game had changed and no matter what I did, I would grow. So I figured comfort won out over fashion. Makes sense even now… ya know?

But now… NOW… I want to look fabulous (and functional). I found some cute Dansko clogs that I think would look amazing with jeans? yes? A skirt? From these questions you can tell that i’m not sure what the clogs would look good with.

Any suggestions? What is one fabulous thing you did for yourself after your pregnancy(s)?
