Mission Kasmir? I’ve seen it. Dil Se? I’ve seen it. Asoka? I’ve seen it. I have seen many many others as well. I really enjoy Bollywood films. So much emotion, dancing, great music and interesting plot lines!

Useless trivia for today:

Apparently, murad was an Indian character actor who appeared in more than 100 Bollywood films from the 1940s on up.

Tonight, husb and I decided to sit down and watch a movie.  A rarity for us since it seems we always have other things going or are just too tired to watch a movie so we opt for the snuggle-in-bed and watch television, choice.

We decided to watch “Gone Baby Gone”.  What an amazing movie!  It had so many twists and turns and surprises!  My head was spinning and my heart strings completely tugged on.  I was cheering when the child molester got shot …. because yeah.  I think child molesters deserve capital torture and to be castrated.  I was crying with the brief scene of the little boy and THANK GOD they didn’t do much other than flash across.  If you’ve seen the movie, then you know what I mean.

Then, I came to the conclusion that the wrong choice had been made in the end.  I truly think that the little one would have had a better life had the private investigator dude stayed out of it.  He should have just turned and walked away.  The biological mother of the child didn’t even deserve to be a mother.  She went back to her same routine as soon as the dust died down.

It was the kind of movie that made me get up and hug and kiss my children tight (even though they were sleeping).

Has anyone else seen this one?  What were your thoughts on it?  Do you think he made the right choice in the end?

It was one that he picked out and so of course there were dvd subtitles.  The movie was surprisingly good despite the language barrier!  It has been awhile since I have watched a foreign film so I must say it brought back good memories for me!

Have any of you ever watched foreign films?  What are your favorites?
