Husb and I like to chat occasionally during his workday. Usually, I will try and hop on the computer during the kids naps and conquer my computer stuff and that includes chatting with husb. Today, he sends me a chat message with a link to a 52″ high definition television. This one happened to be plasma though I know that he is deciding whether he wants plasma or LCD. Apparently, in a plasma television the black is more of a “true black”. Who knew?

So the t.v. was listed for $1400. Wow. We don’t have that kind of cash laying around though I suppose he’ll want to dip into our tax refund money to pay for it. I’m okay with that as long as the important stuff gets taken care of first. Truth be told, i’ll be glad when we finally buy an HD tv. Then I wont have to hear about it anymore or receive endless hints in chats, e-mails, dinner conversation, or pauses between commericals. LOL

He has however, decided that he wants to buy a new tv stand to go with it. One that mounts it to the wall without actually ruining the wall.

Do you have a high definition television? How does it look when gaming? I hear the visual experience is much better, especially for current and next gen consoles.

So, i’m not sure how many of you ladies have had your husbands change diapers… but are they babies about it?

Little Brodykins needed to be changed this evening and I enlisted my husband to help. Now mind you, I do most (if not ALL) of the diaper changing around here because #1 it was part of our agreement with me being able to stay home and #2 my husband HATES doing it. Especially the poopy ones.

Anyway… so he was changing Brody’s diaper and lo and behold, the little guy pooped his pants. So as my husband is changing his diaper he is gagging so loud that the other kids run into the bedroom to see what is happening. I am standing there rolling my eyes as I push him gently aside to finish the task sans-gagging.

Maybe I have a stronger stomach because I used to change adult diapers when I worked with my mom in her AFC (Adult Foster Care) business. It was no big deal to me then and even less of a deal now. *shrugs*

Now really… how are your husbands with the whole diaper changing ordeal? Are they big babies too?

My husband gets a kick out of the posts I write that reference him in some way. Apparently, in one post, I made him sound like a dunce with some cables. I think they were CAT5e or something. I guess I didn’t know enough about the cables themselves to say exactly what he did with them/does with them and in the end made him sound like he hooked them up to a toaster! LOL

So now, our running joke is that when I mention him on my blog, it will always be about him doing stupid things with the technology-driven items in our house. Like perhaps tonight I told him I would write a story about him trying to plug our iPod into an airport card or our microwave! HA!

Anyway, i’m clearing his name here. He’s really handy and knows way more about networking and cables and computer hardware stuff than I know. So there. Maybe he’ll read this tomorrow and i’ll get some brownie points!
