The change in seasons is kind of sad at times. I LOVE the fall season. So much in fact, that I look forward to the end of summer, while others are dreading it. I love the holidays and the peaceful evenings. I love that it gets dark earlier and light -later. I am not a fan of snow… but I love the autumn colors and the crisp smell of the air as the cold front moves in and the summer heat moves out.

What is your favorite season?

Buying things online is as easy as one internet search term. I was even able to find a rare perfume online. I looked for it in stores everywhere but could not find it.

With the exception of clothes, I have to say that I enjoy shopping online. No crowds to push through, no fighting over limited items or dealing with the stress of finding the perfect parking space. Kids get bored while on a shopping trip? Yeah that doesn’t happen online.

It is 11:39. Husb and I just got done wrapping all of the presents and stuffing the stockings! Boy what a job but I am soooo very excited for Christmas morning! I can’t wait to see the kids’ reactions to all of the presents under the tree!

I started baking cookies yesterday. Owie is no longer asking when Santa will be here but instead counting down the days. So that means I can bake cookies now because in a couple more nights we will be able to put them out for Santa!

I’ve got a great big dinner planned for Christmas day! So much food that I am for sure going to have to get some diet pills to help shed a few unwanted LBs from the holidays!

Too much fun to be had I tell ya! Christmas is absolutely my favorite holiday of all!

Like many of you, I will be gathered around a glorious dinner with my family and all will be harmonious. We will eat, watch football and nap. Oh how I love Thanksgiving!

I found a great sale at our local Meijer! Great deals on toys!

I am half researcher and half impulse buyer. I like making an informed purchase, especially if the item is big ticket and worth a lot of money. Smaller priced items usually find me buying on impulse.

So I have been shopping for baby B.  We decided to name him Broderick.  I can’t remember whether or not I remembered to mentioned that.  Anyway, I have yet to find a good sale.  You know, the kind where you can stock up to your heart’s content and know that you will be pleasantly rewarded with a discounted bill once everything has been rung up.

No such luck here.  I’m thinking of trying a store called Once Upon a Child.  It is a children’s clothing and accessories consignment shop.  They only take gently used items so you are sure to end up with great clothes at bargain prices.  I am addicted to that store.  I’ll admit it and with no shame.  I plunked down some change a few months ago to outfit my daughter and son for the short spring season.  Now, i’m quite ready to do it again!  Hee!

My friends have been extremely generous in giving me any clothes that their babies have outgrown!  I am so thankful for that!  I seriously have rocking mom friends!

Rambling here… it is amazing to me how frugal I am now as compared to the days when Owiebear was just a little cub.   Of course, the outrageous gas prices don’t help any.

I am forever looking for ways to save money, so here is a question for moms of more than one….
